Franklin County Sherriff Officer Goodrich reported the following:
Officer Goodrich reported most calls received in the past month were due to homeowners setting off alarms.
An audience member reported the house burned on Morse Rd. last year remains unkept and unsafe. She stated signs on the house indicated it is condemned, but has noticed people entering. The property remains littered and the grass remains uncut. Trustee Dever requested the address to further investigate the situation.
An audience member requested if there were any updates on the possible noise ordinance being issued within Brown Township. Chair Pam Sayre reported she had researched the matter and issues such as time limits, school related events, agricultural machinery, and other purposeful activities would have to be considered exempt if adopted.
Trustee Dever reported a catch basin has been installed on the East side of Langton Rd. He also suggested another catch basin is needed on the West side of the road as well. He said tile already exists so the construction would not be very involved. Trustee Dever reported he will follow up with this matter.
Trustee Dever requested to allow the grass to grow on the mound system to help absorb water.
Trustee Dever reported the ceiling is leaking in the lower floor of the Firehouse in the area where the air conditioning unit drains. Atlas Butler will be contacted to take care of this matter.
With no further business, Trustee Williams motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Trustee Dever. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. following a unanimous vote.
